Your Father hears and sees you

Have you ever felt that God doesn’t hear your cry for help or hear any of your prayers? Or perhaps you feel like He is far away from you.

I just want to encourage you that your Father in Heaven’s hearing ability is supernatural. He is always present and “all knowing.” However, Satan comes and attacks the human heart and mind with many lies. Lies like:

  • “God doesn’t hear you because you are not good enough”
  • “God doesn’t love you, and you will always be stuck in these circumstances”
  • “There is no hope for you.”

Where has Satan brought a lie or lies to your heart? Some may have already been established since childhood. Lay them down at God’s feet, by acknowledging the lies, and then ask your Father in Heaven for His deliverance.

Let me pray with you: Father, thank You for Your precious child. Please bring your relief now, from every lie that has come against your beloved’s heart. I ask for renewed hope and understanding into every situation of oppression or opposition. Grant your child Your peace. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

In the book of Exodus chapter 3, God speaks to Moses at the burning bush. Here you get a good indication of the loving Father heart of God towards His children.

“The Lord said, ‘I have seen the troubles my people have suffered in Egypt. And I have heard their cries when the Egyptian slave masters hurt them. I am concerned about their pain.’”

“I have heard the cries of the people of Israel. I have seen the way the Egyptians have made life hard for them. So now I am sending you to the king of Egypt. Go! Bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt!’” Exodus 3: 7 and verse 9-10 (International Children’s Bible)

The reality was that the Israelites were enslaved and abused and in complete bondage. Under Egyptian rule, they had no freedom.

However, our Father is a rescuer by divine nature. The Word of God shows how God yearned to rescue His people from the Egyptians.

Be encouraged today, that God has heard your cry. He has seen your circumstances, and He is attentive.

Verse: “For the ways of man are directly before the eyes of the Lord, and He carefully watches all of his paths [all of his comings and goings].” Proverbs 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

Practical action step: You can therefore apply this directly to your own circumstances. Take courage and speak to those lies – lies of helplessness, oppression, bondage, sorrow; telling them that:

“My God is a rescuer and He will rescue me from this!”
